On Mar. 6, 1836, General Santa Anna's forces overtook the Alamo, slaying 200 Texans. Mexico's campaign against the Republic of Texas then culminated with the Goliad Massacre.
Through Mar. 19, the Dallas Historical Society presents the exhibit Remember the Alamo! Remember Goliad!

Safe House
SAFE HOUSE
Safe House is an exhibit of quilts. The work features traditional block-quilting, original designs, and fiber art. They may have been quilted by hand or by machine.
Safe House is also an exhibit on the African American coding tradition in quilts and the bond of black women in quilting circles. On view at South Dallas Cultural Center, Mar. 3-31.

Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me! is National Public Radio's Peabody Award-winning quiz show.
Host Peter Sagal as he leads a panel of comedians, journalists, listeners and celebrity guests through a comic review of the week's news. NPR tapes an upcoming broadcast Mar. 23 at the Music Hall at Fair Park.

Kinky Boots is a multiple Tony Award-winning musical with music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper and a book by Harvey Fierstein.
In its Texas premiere, the entertaining and inspirational Broadway show will be presented by Dallas Summer Musicals, Mar. 28-Apr. 9 at Music Hall at Fair Park.
