Beal Bank/SMU Dallas Regional Science & Engineering Fair
REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR TO SPOTLIGHT NEXT GENERATION OF BRIGHT MINDS
Science fairs have come a long way from volcanoes made from papier-mâché, and solar systems made with Styrofoam balls. Today's fairs explore more sophisticated issues, like the relationship between electricity and magnetism and why a blue sky becomes orange at sunset.
This month, come to Fair Park, where you can meet this area's emerging scientists and review their work in exploring how our universe operates. Those who win the Beal Bank/SMU Dallas Regional Science & Engineering Fair usually dominate at the state level and often take home top awards at national and international fairs, as well. Saturday, Feb. 24. 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Centennial Hall.
