Fair Park Coliseum

ONCE THE HOME OF THE DALLAS CHAPARRALS (NOW KNOWN AS THE SAN ANTONIO SPURS)


Built in 1955, Fair Park Coliseum is a favorite destination among visitors to Fair Park for events large and small.

With seating options for floor, VIP box and mezzanine seats, each side accommodates 3,500 spectators. Every year, the Coliseum hosts rodeos, roller derbies, circus events, cheerleading competitions, youth wrestling, film shoots and other events.

For decades, the Dallas Black Hawks (1967-82) skated through the Fair Park Coliseum arena entertaining fans and earning four Adams Cup Championships. The Dallas Freeze (1992-95) succeeded them in the Central Hockey League.
