Visitors to the State Fair of Texas find all of these, and more, in the Creative Arts Building. In fact, they find on display here the blue-ribbon winners (and their runners-up) from across the state in such categories as:
Built in 1936 as part of the Texas Centennial Exhibition, the building previously bore the name of the Foods Building. It offers 17,000 square feet of exhibition space and a 250-seat theater.
The Creative Arts Building is also the home for many cooking demonstrations.
Along Nimitz Avenue, next to the Embarcadero Building.
