Few college games enjoy such prestige, excitement and turnout as does the Red River Showdown, which takes place each October in The Cotton Bowl.
A recent poll by The Dallas Morning News named it the third greatest college football rivalry of all time (behind only Ohio State/Michigan and Army/Navy). Since 1945, one or both of the two teams has gone into the contest ranked among the top 25 teams more than 90 percent of the time.

Good luck. Every year, this game is sold out months in advance. Check with the athletic department of either university, your favorite online ticket source, and every friend who owes you a favor. But again, good luck.
Keep in mind parking is at a premium, since the game takes place at the same time and in the same location as the State Fair of Texas.
