Mental Health/Substance Abuse Training Course 
Saturday, June 15th & every Sat thru July 6th; 11am – 12pm; and 1pm – 2pm; Association of Persons Affected by Addition (APAA); 3116 MLK, Jr, 75215. Free. Fair Park Free Summer Programs

31st Texas Black Invitational Rodeo

3rd Annual Juneteenth Economic Forum 
Wednesday, June 19th; 9am – 3:30pm; Zan Holmes Center @Frazier House; 4600 Spring, 75210. Free. Community organizations, churches, builders, lenders who want to impact the economy of Southern Dallas will hear about the Digital Economy; STEM for Youth; Crypto Currency; and Small Business Financing. Juneteenth Celebration: MLK, Jr Center 
Wednesday, June 19th; 2pm – 7pm; 2922 MLK, Jr Blvd, 75215. Free. Texas was notified of the freedom of slaves 2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation (on June 19, 1865). A History & Celebration of Juneteenth” 
Wednesday, June 19, 2019; 6:30pm; Hall of State in Fair Park, 75210. Free. Historian, Donald Payton, will discuss the origins of Juneteenth which commemorates the end of slavery in Texas proclaimed on June 19,1865. The South Dallas Concert Choir will also perform. Real Estate 101 
Apply by June 21th. The Real Estate Council presents 5, two-hour workshops to help non-profits and faith organizations manage their real estate. Free! MLK Clean Team Initiative

The South Dallas/Fair Park Public Improvement District (PID) sponsors this clean-up to introduce itself to the community before its annual owners meeting.
