DISD Trustee District 9: Run-off Election

30th Texas Black Invitational Rodeo

Utility Payments for Seniors 
Mondays June 18 & 25, 2018; 9am – 3pm. Elder Financial Safety Center provides TXU & Atmos utility payments for qualifying adults 60+. Picture ID, utility bill(s), income verification, etc, required. Be patient. Many are seeking these services. Contact: 214-823-5700.

Southern Sector Pastor's Luncheon: Urban Gardens 
Monday, June 18th; 11:30am – 1pm. State Fair of Texas and the Rev. Peter Johnson invite pastors from Dallas’ southern sector to discuss a collaboration opportunity for community gardens and churches. Community Engagement Day Luncheon Registration

Wednesday, June 20th; 8pm; Museum Green @Fair Park. “Wonder Woman” is this week’s movie. All summer enjoy family-friendly films. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets – even your dog (on a leash). Information:

Learn to Swim @Community Pools 
Thru Aug. 12th; hours/locations vary. The City operates 14 outdoor pools where you can learn to swim. $1 for those under 12; $2 ages 12+. Info:
