Round up the hounds! In response to overwhelming doggy delight, Fair Park will unleash two dates in 2010 for the free family-friendly fourth annual Dog Bowl at Cotton Bowl Stadium. On Sunday, April 11, and Sunday, June 6 (1 – 5 p.m.), Dallas’ most historic football field will transform into a giant-size dog park open to people, pups and pooches of all sizes.

Round up the hounds! In response to overwhelming doggy delight, Fair Park will unleash two dates in 2010 for the free family-friendly fourth annual Dog Bowl at Cotton Bowl Stadium. On Sunday, April 11, and Sunday, June 6 (1 – 5 p.m.), Dallas’ most historic football field will transform into a giant-size dog park open to people, pups and pooches of all sizes.
Both doggy days will kick off with a “tail”-gate party at 11 a.m. in the “woof” stock zone outside the Cotton Bowl. At 1 p.m., the Dog Bowl will officially get underway with live entertainment, giveaways, exhibits and activities including a pet/owner look-alike contest, an animal-only agility course, canine crafts, frisbee demos by the Dallas Dog & Disc Club, plus a don’t-miss demo by three-time national disc champ Maggie (April 11 only).
Hear from trainers, veterinarians and a variety of pet product vendors on the latest tips and trends in the dog world, take a leisurely stroll around the lagoon on the Pooch Path, and savor the day with pictures of your pooch projected on the Cotton Bowl JumboTron!

Misting ponds and giant “dip or sip” dog bowls will keep canines cool and quenched, while dog owners will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and other concessions for sale.
Both Dog Bowl events are free and open to the public. Parking is $10 and available at Gate 11. Or ride DART’s Green Line to the Fair Park Station. Please note: “Tail”-gate parties begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m. Bring your own picnic – no alcohol or grills please. Beer will be available for purchase. Owners will be asked to observe all current City of Dallas Dog Park policies while at the Cotton Bowl.
The fourth annual Dog Bowl is hosted by Friends of Fair Park, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
